Morgenstern’s Collaborates With Cool Chefs on New Ice-Cream Flavors

It’s soon going to be even harder for you to decide which flavor to order at Morgenstern’s Finest Ice Cream: On November 1, the parlor will launch a special chef-driven series, inspired by restaurants and coffee shops around New York. (For example, the Jeepney team’s ice cream is made with purple yam and avocado and rolled in caramelized coconut sugar.) Each flavor will be available for one week only, so plan accordingly. Here’s the full list:

Ivan Ramen: Tokyo Yuzu Shio Crunch
Salted-yuzu ice cream with scooped-in buckwheat cookies — available week of November 1 to 7

Navy: Sailor’s Delight
Saffron-almond ice cream with tangerine jam — available week of November 8 to 14

The Cannibal: Radler Shandy
Schoppenhoffer wheat-beer ice cream with scooped-in Life cereal — available week of November 15 to 21

Bun-ker: Bun-ker Chunk
Shiso leaf, Vietnamese mint, lemongrass, and Thai purple-basil ice cream with chocolate chunks — available week of November 21 to 28

El Rey Coffee Bar & Luncheonette: Mexican Mocha
Abuelita chocolate, coffee, cardamom, and fresh peppermint ice cream — available week of November 29 to December 5

Estela: Oligato!
Moka ice cream with kalamata crisps — available week of December 6 to 12

Parlor Coffee: Fig Jam Karatu
Kenyan coffee ice cream with white-pepper fig jam folded in — available week of December 13 to 19

Jeepney: Oohbae Avocado Latik
