We live in an age of skepticism when it comes to critics and the food establishment — “Who needs ‘em?” cry the Yelp Elite. But perhaps it’s taking things a step too far to resort to allowing a four-year-old to review five dishes at Mission Chinese Food, as the Bold Italic just did. Obviously, he loves the salt cod fried rice, but you may be surprised to learn of his disgust at the Tiki Pork Belly, and he’s decidedly nonplussed by the tea-smoked eel that other critics have gushed over.
