La Ciccia Expands With La Nebbia, an Enoteca

Big news over in Noe Valley: Longtime Sardinian favorite La Ciccia will spin off a casual wine, prosciutto, and pizza bar called La Nebbia, less than a block away at 1781 Church Street. As co-owner Massimiliano Conti tells the Scoop, “We want it to be a fun place where you can go have a great glass of wine and some prosciutto,” but they’re dubbing it more of a “San Francisco restaurant” than an Italian restaurant, per se, with local ingredients on the pizzas, and oven-roasted meats and vegetables too. The space is a former consignment store, and will require a change of use. At this point they’re aiming for a fall opening, but stay tuned for updates. [Scoop]
