We mentioned it last week, but allow us to remind you that Glaze Teriyaki Grill — the fast-casual spot inspired by Seattle teriyaki spots but born in New York — is opening this evening in the former Johnny Rockets space Fillmore and Pine. We checked out a preview last night and can confirm that the salmon teriyaki plate is a solid choice, and the wok-tossed vegetables are crisp, well cooked, and coated with a pleasant, citrusy teriyaki sauce. You should be warned, though, that their beer and wine license hasn’t come through yet, and though the taps are there you won’t be able to enjoy them until June or July. See the menu here.
