We've got a trio of notable special-event dinners to share with you today. First off, Michelin-starred SPQR chef Matt Accarrino is spending a night cooking up at the Michelin-starred Farmhouse Inn in Forestville this Thursday, March 21. As far as we understand, tables are still available, and the multi-course meal will feature dishes out of the new SPQR cookbook, including stuffed quail with rhubarb, spring onion, black truffle, and Castelluccio lentil; and a rabbit lasagna and prosciutto cotto. Wine pairings are included, and it's a $175 per-person prix fixe. The inn is also offering a 25 percent discount on lodging to those who might want to spend the night. Call 707-887-3300 to reserve.

Next up, on March 30, David Bazirgan of Fifth Floor will be cooking at Scribe Winery, also in Sonoma County. That dinner is $125 a person, and will feature the release of Scribe's first vintage of Sylvaner, which they say represents the first planting of this unique German varietal in Sonoma County in decades. The fun starts at sunset, at 6:33 p.m., and you can purchase a seat here.

And last but not least, on April 22 and 23, Blaine Wetzel, the acclaimed chef at The Willows Inn on Lummi Island in Washington State is coming to S.F. to cook with Commonwealth chef Jason Fox. Each will cook three of the courses in a six-course dinner, and that will be $80 per person, with $40 additional for wine pairings. (As it happens, Wetzel just found out today that he's been nominated for a James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef.) Call Commonwealth at 415-355-1500 for reservations. [Scoop]
