A 32-year-old Massachusetts tourist alleges he got some broken glass with his linguini and seafood at La Pizza & Pasta when he dined with five others at Eataly in January. “There was a lot of blood coming out of my mouth,” Fabio de Oliveira tells the Post. The man, coincidentally a restaurant owner in Cape Cod, says that despite the incident, he paid his $217 tab and even tipped 20 percent. A managing partner at Eataly tells the paper that Oliveira dined without incident and only reported finding glass “twenty minutes after leaving the table.” Oliveira, who says his “speech and eating have been affected,” is suing for unspecified damages.
