You’ll recall how local chocolatier Charles Chocolates had some financial struggles and had to close up shop at the Westfield Centre in 2011. Well, founder Chuck (Charles) Siegel has revived his brand, and today marks the reopening of a new retail shop and exhibition kitchen, with patio, at 535 Florida Street. The opening product array includes chocolate paves, fleur de sel caramels, truffles, mendiants, triple chocolate almonds, brownies, a chocolate layer “snacking cake,” and three types of cookies, chocolate chip, double chocolate chip, and oatmeal chocolate chip. They’ll be open daily, and you can also order stuff from their web store, or find their products soon at local retailers.
