The contemporary American restaurant Bellwether, which opened last February at the corner of Union Avenue and Richardson Street in Williamsburg, is closing down for a while, the Local East Village reports. Calyer and Anella co-owner Josh Cohen has left the project, and the restaurant’s remaining partners say they’ll regroup and relaunch with a lower-priced menu, hopefully next month, and possibly with a new, “well known” partner. The restaurant’s enormous vinyl collection will remain. [LEV, Earlier]
