First Look at Rickybobby, Now Open in the Lower Haight

Rickybobby (Haight and Webster), the new restaurant with the Will Farrell-inspired name from the Broken Record team of James Moisey and Shane LaValley whose opening we alerted you to earlier this week, made it open as planned last night. Grub Street snapped a couple photos of the cozy interior, recently remodeled since its Rotee days with a coat of dark green paint, some artwork, and one taxidermied two-headed calf. You can see the full menu board in one of the photos, and it includes such hearty, cold-weather fare as a crab and fontina grilled cheese, chicken parm, and their signature bacon burger with American cheese.

Please note that it’s BYOB for now until the liquor license comes through, which should be soon. Once it does, they’ll have four local beers and two wines on tap.

At least three or four menu items will rotate on a regular basis, and they will be doing weekly specials under the menu heading ‘Baller’s Corner,’ with things like a ribeye steak, but they’ll keep the portion size small enough that you can hopefully afford it at a non-baller price.
