Spats (1974 Shattuck Avenue), the long-loved, natty-around-the-edges pub at the edge of the UC Berkeley campus, has been closed and gathering dust for three years. The place was on the market a year ago and possibly did not sell, and we're not sure what this means in terms of a reopening timeline, but stay tuned.
