Sneaky’s BBQ Brick-and-Mortar Deal Falls Through; Hirsch Loves Them Just the Same

Sadly, the deal we reported on in June, in which Sneaky's BBQ had almost secured a brick-and-mortar space to which they were going to move later this year following the end of their run at Rebel, has fallen through. As the Examiner's Jesse Hirsch reports, in a review of Sneaky's ongoing and only occasional pop-up efforts, the space "wasnt quite right" and Sneaky's pitmaster Ben Thorne says it would have taken too much work anyway. So, the future of Sneaky's remains up in the air, though they are offering home delivery, usually on Fridays, via email to sneakysbbq@gmail.com, and they may pop up at Dear Mom again. And Hirsch raves that their brisket is "a revelation!", their Bassian Farms pork belly is to die for, and their smoky fried wings in Rooster sauce are the best in the city. [Examiner]
