Back in May we broke the news that Palo Alto-based SliderBar Café was expanding to the former Bagdad Café/Criolla Kitchen space in the Castro. And today we bring you the first photos of the remodeled interior, which has been fully transformed under new owner Ashwani Dhawan. See the menu here, and you will find them softly open tonight, tomorrow, and Wednesday at 5 p.m., with the grand opening happening Thursday, October 4. (Cut them some slack, though, Yelpers… these first couple of nights are technically for testing and training the staff.) For now it will be dinner only, with breakfast and lunch starting soon, and late hours on the weekend until 1 a.m. And there are beer floats.
SliderBar Café - 2295 Market at 16th - Open Sunday and Monday, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., until midnight Tuesday to Thursday, and until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
