Behold the New Gold Dust Lounge, Rendered

There will, of course, hopefully be people in it.

Remember all that brouhaha surrounding the Gold Dust Lounge getting evicted from their long-inhabited space on Union Square? Well, as earlier reported, the bar found a new location at 165 Jefferson Street, at Fisherman’s Wharf, and now they’ve revealed a rendering of what’s to come. As SFist points out, there’s not much to see here, but there will be red carpeting, and there will be old-timey chandeliers. And a rep for the bar says, “The new place will be as close to the original as possible in terms of decor with the old paintings, the mural on the ceiling, etc.” We’ll update you if learn of an opening timeframe.
