Over in Berkeley, we're getting word that the replacement for the dearly departed Café Fanny, Bartavelle Coffee & Wine Bar (1603 San Pablo Avenue), has softly opened. And as Berkeleyside reports, there are already lines out the door and Berkeley denizens "nibbling on avocado toasts paired with a glass of white wine."
