And in further post-World-Series-win promotions news, we have an enormous, lactose-heavy concoction coming out of the kitchen at American Grilled Cheese Kitchen (1 South Park) in honor of World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval today. It’s a “triple decker grilled cheese w/ habanero jack, creamy havarti, sharp cheddar, fresh jalapenos, smoked turkey, artisan cured ham, applewood smoked bacon, and stout mustard on sourdough.” And that will set you back $12. The restaurant’s expansion to the Mission, by the way, into the former Café Gratitude at 20th and Harrison, is on track for a late November or early December opening. [Facebook]
