It’s time for another contest, kids! September 17 marks the kickoff of the sixth annual San Francisco Cocktail Week, and like all the years’ previous it’s going to be a marathon for the livers of cocktailians around town, not a sprint. The week-long event may be second only to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans in terms of its scope and the quality of the drinks to be had, and in addition to fine libations and parties there are seminars as well, covering topics such as punches, and distilling beer into whiskey. Grub Street, in partnership with Cocktail Week, would like to offer you a chance to win a pair of all-access passes to this year’s events, and the rules of the contest are pretty simple.
Just follow us on Twitter if you don’t already (and you should follow Cocktail Week as well) and over the next few days look for us to tweet out cocktail trivia questions with the hashtag #grubstcocktailweektix. You should reply to us on Twitter if you know the answer. On Wednesday, September 13 at noon we will randomly select a winner out of the correct answers, and you might be on your way to a highly intoxicated week of good times.
The all-access pass holders will get entry into all the week’s main events starting Monday, September 17 with the big opening event at Anchor brewery, and finishing with a big closing blow-out at St. George Spirits in Alameda on September 23. (Pass does not include the week’s two dining events, which can be purchased separately.)
