Sens Surprised by Rich Table’s Seasonal Offerings

SF Mag’s Josh Sens is the first of the critics to review Rich Table. Just a short two months after its opening, Sens has awarded the Hayes Valley restaurant with three stars. He says the duck lasagna with plums is “a dish you will remember, long after it’s gone” and the charred tomato and smoked eggplant rigatoni “is one of the best things” he’s eaten all year. Though Sens finds the food hard to categorize, he believes the cuisine is “inventive and addictive” and describes the atmosphere as “refinement without frills.” [SF Mag, Earlier]
