Spirited Food Trucks Highlights Include Eastern European-Jewish Truck

Last night’s Spirited Food Trucks party at SoMa StrEat Food Park as part of SF Cocktail Week (currently in full swing - check out the rest of the week’s events here) meant some fine food truck eats with cocktails, like the brilliant Kraken (lemon pepper and garlic fried soft shell crab sandwich) from Adam’s Grub Truck and ridiculously good juju balls (fried cream cheese-potato balls) from the Cosmic American Voodoo Van. Debuting early summer, Old World Food Truck charmed with Eastern European and Jewish foods from former New Yorker Kenny Hockert, like potato-goat cheese pierogies, a chicken schnitzel-wich topped with green garlic slaw and optional chopped liver, and a pretty wicked Reuben sandwich. Follow on Twitter for truck locations. [Earlier]
