MAU, the new project from former Slow Club chef Sante Salvoni and partner Hung Dang (Tin Vietnamese), is getting set for a soft opening tomorrow night, Wednesday, in the former NY Buffalo Wings space at 665 Valencia Street. The cuisine will be Southeast Asian-inspired, with an emphasis on street food from Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam (think pork sausage lettuce wraps with pickled vegetables and mint; rice bowls; and bigger dishes like Vietnamese-style whole roasted fish). Also, they’re opening for lunch and dinner right off the bat. So check it out. [Tablehopper, Earlier]
