Sandwich mogul Ike Shehadeh is adding the ninth and tenth locations of his Ike’s Place/Ike’s Lair empire, and they shall be in Danville and Walnut Creek. Diablo gets the dish, and says the Danville location, possibly open within a month, will be an Ike’s Lair and it will be in the Trader Joe’s shopping center. The Walnut Creek location is still in the works for later this year, and will be in “a new space in downtown Walnut Creek near the movie theater next to Buckhorn Grill.” Both locations will have the same long, eclectic menus featuring mountains of meat, mozzerella sticks, dirty sauce, and such, and each will get their own “secret” menu items as well.
