Et Al, the New Wine Bar From Biondivino, Opening in Late August on Polk Street

We’ve known for a while now that Biondivino wine shop owner Ceri Smith has been plotting a new wine bar around the corner at 2255 Polk Street with a food menu from Boulette’s Larder, and that it would be called Et Al. This week the liquor license came through and we were trying to confirm an opening date with Smith, but today the Chron reports that it’s coming at the end of the month. The wine list will include some from Biondivino’s Italian-focused catalogue, but also others like Rieslings, Madeiras, Champagnes, Georgian wines, and rosés — hence the name, which means “and others.” Also look for Boulette’s Larder to be expanding their footprint at the Ferry Building as well with a 50-seat restaurant next door called Bouli Bar. It’s taking over the former Culinaire shop space, and will likely open by early next year. [Chron, Earlier]
