As reported earlier, Curtis Kimball, a.k.a. The Crème Brûlée Man, is expanding his cart operation once again with a permanent, brick-and-mortar window at 1246 Folsom Street (between 8th and 9th). It’s the former Goody Goodie Cream & Sugar window next to Vega. The new Crème Brûlée Shop will be open noon to 6 p.m. today and tomorrow, and you can check Twitter for updates. (The plan was to be open seven days a week, with late-night hours on Friday and Saturday until 1 a.m., for the SoMa partying set.)
