Fifteen-year-old E&O; Trading Company closed in June for an overhaul, and today it reopens as E&O; Asian Kitchen (314 Sutter Street), complete with a new bar program from Carlos Yturria (formerly at Absinthe) and a revised menu from consulting chef Arnold Eric Wong. Wong’s added a few new items to the menu, as the Chron reports, like an Asian spin on “gnocchi” using rice sticks, beef, and cabbage, as well as stuff like tea deviled eggs and five-spice chicken wings. See all the menus here. The new design focuses more on the downstairs bar and lounge, and there’s a new menu of bar bites as well. [Chron]
