This long-cursed corner spot will see some new life.

Behold the latest iteration of Chez Maman at Gough and Hayes, part of the mini-chain of French bistros owned by Jocelyn Bulow that includes the original location in Potrero Hill, as well as two locations of Chez Papa. Bulow also branched out with some slightly French-i-fied Mexican food in 2010 with Papito, and the the menu at this new Chez Maman reflects a little of that fusion, via chef Russell Cab who’s worked for a while at Papito. There’s crepes and moules from the bistrot side of things, as well as a “Papito Represents” section featuring burritos, tacos, and quesadillas. And, of course, the Chez Maman burger is on offer here too.

Check out the full menu here (you may need to click on it to enlarge it), and see our slideshow by clicking below. They open tonight at 5:30 p.m., and starting tomorrow (or soon) they will be open for lunch, too, starting at 11:30 a.m.

* It was previously stated that Gamine was connected to Bulow’s restaurant group, but that is not the case.
