It appears that the Blue Macaw (2565 Mission Street) in the Mission is not long for this world. Grub Street sees a new liquor license app going in for something called Balançoire, a new bar/club/restaurant from new owner Richard Einselen. The word means “swing” or “see-saw” in French, and there’s actually a bistro in Montmartre, in Paris, called La Balançoire, so maybe that’s a clue? File under: Developing. [Grub Street]
