At her new gig at 7x7, Marcia Gagliardi pays a visit to Adam Mesnick’s new pop-up spinoff of Deli Board, 1058 Hoagie — which has actually suspended the pop-ups until the upcoming opening of their brick-and-mortar spot at 180 7th Street. She calls the sandwiches, which come on twelve-inch sesame hoagie buns that Mesnick has custom-made for him, “drool-worthy” and “ideal for Giants night games.” [7x7]

And covering the two-star bits this week at the Chron is Allen Matthews, who provides us a review of Lot 7 because Michael Bauer apparently didn’t care to (and he just got back from a Paris vacation). He says that the best things on the menu are the entrées, like the pan-roasted salmon, the seared halibut, and the Wagyu flat iron steak, which he says was tender and perfectly cooked. [Chron]
