The Underground Market Returns Thursday With Kickstarter Celebration

After a full year of being out of commission, Forage SF’s Underground Market will be hitting Public Works (161 Erie Street) on Thursday in celebration of its Kickstarter campaign, which ends Thursday at 9 p.m. The Underground Market will be bringing back all their favorite vendors, including those who got their starts there and have since gone on to start successful businesses. The organizers note: “Rice Paper Scissors got on No Reservations, Homeroom and Mission Cheese started restaurants, and Frozen Kuhsterd is killing it with events around the city.”

All the proceeds from Thursday night will go toward the Kickstarter campaign, which will fund the new Forage Kitchen incubator space. As of this posting, the campaign is at $98,411 pledges out of the $150,000 goal.

Thursday’s Underground Market will include a date auction with prizes such as a Ramen tour of the South Bay with Richie from Hapa Ramen, a Vietnamese tasting tour of SF with the girls of Rice Paper Scissors, and Abalone diving with Iso Rabins of forageSF.
