Mission: Tomorrow’s Vegan Hacker at Noisebridge (2169 Mission Street) explores vegan burgers, “ranging from the simple grilled portabella mushroom (or marinated tofu slab), to the more complex (but still easy to make) blends of TVP and nuts and beans or something. Perhaps you want to make a raw burger, a post-modern dessert burger, or a fakin’ bacon burger!” [7x7]

Peninsula: Chef Roland Passot’s LB Steak Menlo Park (898 Santa Cruz Avenue, Menlo Park) is now open with Ryan Ellison as the Chef de Cuisine. Signature dishes include a 32 oz. Tomahawk Chop steak with a variety of accompanying sauces, accompanied by Yorkshire pudding, cream of spinach, truffle mac and cheese, or seasonal vegetables, and paired with signature handcrafted cocktails.
