A Buckminster Fuller-Inspired Pop-Up at SFMOMA; Presidio Social Club Hosts Pig Roast

SoMa/Downtown: SFMOMA is doing another lunchtime pop-up this Friday, June 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Schwab Room off the lobby. Sweet Jo’s Chili and Biscuits will be doing the food along with Blue Bottle, and it’s all themed to go with the Buckminster Fuller exhibit. Think hexagon s’mores, and liberal use of the word “synergistic.” [Grub Street]
Also, Ame (689 Mission) is jumping on the foie train: You can find a fine looking bowl (pictured) of seared foie gras ramen there, with Hokkaido-style broth, for $25 through the month of June. See other foie menu offerings around town here.
Richmond: Speaking of ramen, the owners of Shabuway have decided to go with a ramen concept at 5120 Geary instead. It’s called Men Oh, and it’s connected to a chain from Japan. It’s now open. [Eater, Earlier]
FiDi: Creperie Saint-Germain opens Friday at 555 California. They’re opening another one at the Metreon in July. [Tablehopper]
Marina: Presidio Social Club is doing their sixth annual Pig Roast Soiree on Sunday, June 17, to celebrate Father’s Day. At 3 p.m., dads can take a pig carving class, and the party starts at 4 p.m. Make reservations at 415.885.1888.
