Well regarded pastry chef Belinda Leong, she of the swooned-over kouign ammans, has been looking for some time to open up a small shop to house her currently homeless business, b. patisserie. Now the Scoop brings word that she's inked a deal to take a space at 2821 California Street, at Divisadero, in Pacific Heights. She's also brought in a partner, artisan-bread guru Michel Suas, owner of TMB Baking Co. and Thorough Bread. They hope to have b. patisserie open by the end of the year, and in the meantime you can still find Leong's goods at Salumeria, Four Barrel, and elsewhere, by keeping track on Facebook. [Scoop]
