We alerted you earlier this week to the impending opening of Region, a new, modern pan-Asian spot from the owners of Unicorn which has taken over the former Mexico DF space at 139 Steuart Street. Today we learn that due to some glitches with the point-of-sale computer system, which Region inherited from Mexico DF and now has to fix, the opening has been delayed until after the holiday, likely mid-week next week. Today, though, we’ve got some sneak preview photos for you of the remodeled space.

Region - 139 Steuart Street - 415.896.1398 - Opening on or around May 29 for lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday; lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Open Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sunday for dinner only, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
