If you’ve been running a temperature, experiencing a runny nose and plagued by prickly rashes since your last visit to Barcade, it may not be a simple case of Pac-Man Fever. It could be something much more sinister — measles! The city’s Department of Public Health issued warning that a local resident who recently spent time in Thailand, as well as an evening at Fishtown’s home of vintage video games and craft beers, has been diagnosed with the disease, according to Newsworks. He was hanging out there on the evening of May 12. And since measles has an incubation period of about eight to 12 days, they are urging anyone who was there that night that’s experiencing anything resembling symptoms of the highly contagious virus to seek medical attention.
