Recent Rush Limbaugh target Tracie McMillan is coming to dinner at Public Kitchen & Bar next Wednesday to discuss and sign her new book, The American Way of Eating, the same tome that set off the radio slob in the first place (maybe deep-fried Twinkies weren’t given enough ink or something?).
Chef Tim Goodell isn’t hating on the scribe here, preparing a four-course pre-fixe dinner to back her up, featuring chicharonnes with chili and lime, arctic char with preserved kumquats, and braised beef cheeks, as well as meatless options available as replacements for each course. The two forces came together through their shared beliefs about serving the country with sustainable, healthy whole foods, allowing McMillan to share some words about her work, which will be available for purchase for $25. See the full menu below and buy $65 tickets for the dinner now at the restaurant or at the door on the night of.
