This year’s class of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs are set to be revealed this week, and editor Dana Cowin has been doing her now annual thing of teasing out the ten picks on this prestigious list via Twitter riddles. Joshua Skenes from Saison was our Bay Area representative last year, and this year’s class looks to have at least one San Francisco chef in it: Benu chef Corey Lee. Cowin’s clue: “Bay Area Leeding Man.” So yeah, that one’s kind of easy. Clue number three was “Cali Cardamom Counter,” and that’s probably an L.A. chef (maybe Jordan Kahn of Red Medicine? Or better yet Bryant Ng of Spice Table). Anyway, look for the official announcement from F&W; tomorrow or the next day. [FWScout/Twitter, Earlier] Update: Food & Wine has made it official. Congrats, Corey.
