The new takeout concept from long-ago Top Chef alum Ryan Scott makes its debut today, and it is called Market & Rye at 68 West Portal Avenue (an earlier name, Please & Thank You, was scrapped). Eater’s got a few photos, and the salad-and-sandwich menu, and Potrero Hill denizens should make note that Scott is planning a “more grownup” version of Market & Rye for the former John Campbell’s Irish Bakery space (300 DeHaro), set to open by summer.
