A little documentary that offers an adoring portrait of 85-year-old Jiro Ono, considered by many to be the best sushi chef in the world, opens in San Francisco today. It’s called Jiro Dreams of Sushi, and our cohorts in New York offered up a clip of the film last month. Today, we bring you another, in which the humble Jiro says that he still “feels ecstatic every day” making sushi, and, “Even at my age, after decades of work, I don’t think I’ve achieved perfection.”

As the Scoop points out, the film is playing at the Embarcadero cinema, and at the Shattuck Cinema in Berkeley.
