We knew it was coming, and here it is folks: the Mission’s own Jewish delicatessen, Wise Sons (3150 24th Street at Shotwell), complete with excellent pastrami, pickles, house-made bagels, and the works. The boys (owners Evan Bloom and Leo Beckerman) are softly open today, until 6 p.m., and they’ll be doing their first brunches this weekend. The grand opening is set for Wednesday, February 22.

The Scoop has the PDF menu here, and you should note they’ll be open for a short day, until 2 p.m., on Monday, President’s Day. Regular hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday, and until 3 p.m. on Sundays. They’ll be closed Mondays, as well as Tuesdays while doing their Ferry Building thing.

Mazeltov, etc.
