What President Obama Will Be Eating This Thursday in San Francisco

President Obama will be swinging through San Francisco this week to do a little campaign fundraising, and on Thursday evening he’ll be attending a dinner at a private home (the Gettys’ perhaps?) which will be catered by Quince chef Michael Tusk. On the menu, as the Scoop reports, will be tortelloni filled with Barinaga Ranch basseri cheese and wild nettle; roast breast of poularde filled with black salsify and savory cabbage as well as a leg fricasee with chanterelle mushroom; and for dessert, chocolate cemeux and Straus Family Creamery milk jam with chocolate caramel dentelle. And no, you can’t attend even if you did have the thousands of dollars to spare to get on such lists. [Scoop]
