You’ve Got Two Weeks Left to Try Some Local Herring

We told you earlier this month how this was the first season in a couple decades when San Francisco Bay herring have been available in local restaurants and markets, and now the Chron has an update about a few dishes popping up, like a pickled version at Commonwealth, and a smoked version at La Folie. Also, you can buy your own at the S.F. Fish Co. at the Ferry Building, but the season for them will be over in just two weeks. [Chron]
