Schulzies Bread Pudding Pops Up at Place Pigalle; Chef Hired at Copita; and More

Hayes Valley: Schulzies Bread Pudding, the SoCal outfit which had earlier announced a February opening at 364 Hayes Street, is pushing that back a bit. But this week they’ll be popping up at Place Pigalle, February 29, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. [Hayeswire, Earlier]
Mission: A bagel pop-up called Schmendricks, selling allegedly terrific hand-rolled bagels outside Fayes Video & Espresso Bar (across from Bi-Rite), popped up on Saturday and sold out fast. They promise they’ll be popping up on weekends in the near future. [Facebook via Mission Local]
Sausalito: Joanne Weir and Larry Mindel’s upcoming Mexican restaurant Copita (739 Bridgeway) just hired a chef, and it’s former Zero Zero executive sous chef Omar Huerta. The tequila-focused restaurant is set to open by late April or May. [Eater]
