Rock Bar Opening This Week, From Front Porch Team; Nevius Dubs Sixth and Market ‘Comfort Food Corner’

La Lengua: We broke the news last summer about The Front Porch folks taking over the nearby International Club (80 29th Street) to open a bar called Rock Bar. Now it looks to be opening this week, pending an inspection. [Scoop]
Bernal Heights: Recent Bernal Heights opener 903 (903 Cortland), from the owner of Sandbox Bakery, just reopened for their first dinner service Saturday after closing for a week to “make sure it’s perfect.” [SFoodie, Earlier]
Sixth Street: Once again we hear from Chuck Nevius regarding the attempted makeover of Sixth Street, and with the entrance of Dottie’s and Pearl’s Deluxe Burgers he notices “there is one critical factor that has been missing until now: customers.” Also, he’s now calling Sixth and Market “comfort food corner.” [Chron, Earlier]
