A little earlier than expected, Jake's on Market swung open its doors for test meals and a soft opening over the weekend, with the public welcomed in for walk-ins only as of last night. They'll start accepting reservations tomorrow night (Wednesday), so for Valentine's Day dining it's still first-come, first-serve. See the opening menu below, as well as our slideshow of the spiffed up new interior, which is both brighter and more modern than the former tenant of the space, 2223.

An added bonus for the neighborhood, there is a late-night menu available, as promised, from 10 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Also, it should be noted that brunch is not launching this week, but will be coming soon.
