Baconfest Chicago Tickets Go On Sale at Noon

“I am cautiously optimistic,” Baconfest Chicago co-founder Seth Zurer says. He is also being tongue in cheek, since Baconfest tickets always sell out in minutes in a mad rush. VIP tickets for the two sessions on April 14 sold out long ago but the general admission tickets go on sale today, at noon, here. There will be two sessions, one from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. and one from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m., with over 50 different chefs participating in each one. Tickets are $75 each, require a name for each ticket and are non-transferable (though if you’re buying tickets for a group, you can put your name down for all of them and as long as you show up with your ID, it’s good). Over and above the donation that the event as a whole will make to the Chicago Food Depository, you also have an opportunity to make a donation directly when you buy your tickets.
