The Mission’s big, new, long-delayed brewpub, Southern Pacific Brewing Co. (620 Treat Street off 19th), is finally swinging open its doors for real on Friday after a few previews. In addition to $3 drafts (some of the house beers will run you $4), the place features a beer-friendly food menu from chef Tyler Moorish, who most recently worked at Osteria Coppa in San Mateo.

Below, the full opening menu, which includes your burger-and-fry option as well as steak frites; a banh mi with IPA-roasted pork loin; a pizza with pale-ale pork sausage; and a salt-baked beet salad with smoked salt, watercress, and chive oil.

As for the beer, Speakeasy brewer Andy French has created Southern Pacific’s pale ale, a California blond ale, a white ale, an IPA and a porter, with a few more varieties on their way.

Note, as the Scoop reports, this place is pretty huge, with 175 seats including the outdoor beer garden, so expect a bustling Mission crowd once people catch wind of this place.
