The winter season has been picking up with pop-ups galore. Just to name a few…

Seoul Patch
, the Korean-American pop-up which launched five months ago at Serpentine by former sous chef Eric Ehler (yes, he’s of Korean descent … he was adopted), is now doing weekday lunches at Rocketfish (1469 18th Street at Connecticut). Also, Ehler tells the story of the birth of Seoul Patch on the Scoop here. See the menu and schedule updates here.

Over at Beast & the Hare, Dan Jablow has been bringing his Jablow’s Meats pop-up on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring a variety of sandwiches with his expertly brined and smoked pastrami and corned beef. Follow Jablow’s on Twitter for other upcoming appearances.

As Joseph Humphrey winds down his Dixie preview dinners at Guest Chef in Oakland, the next up on their rotating pop-up docket is Greg Lutes, formerly executive chef at Skates on the Bay in Berkeley, and the Waterfront. He’s also worked with the likes of Jason Wilson at Crush in Seattle and Daniel Boulud in NYC, and his latest project is iculinaire. From January 31 to February 12, he’ll be serving a menu featuring Riverdog Farms pork and Berkeley Farmers’ Market produce. See the menu here, and make reservations here.

And don’t forget that Preeti Mistry’s Juhu Beach Club returns to La Victoria next Thursday, February 2, and if you can’t get a reservation for one of the two seatings, there’s always the option to walk in for an abbreviated, $15 prix fixe.
