Dottie’s Move Date Set; Café Mereb to Close; Tataki Opens in Glen Park Next Week

Tenderloin: Everyone’s favorite brunch joint, Dottie’s True Blue Café (522 Jones Street), will be closing to relocate on December 24th. The opening date at its new location, the old Passion Café on 6th, is still TBA. [Grub Street, Earlier]
Richmond: Clement neighborhood Mediterranean deli, Cafe Mereb (1541 Clement Street), is closing. The cafe, that was known for its weekend Eritrean specials and brunch, will be shutting its doors around December 20. [Richmond SF]
Glen Park: Tataki Canyon, the latest sustainable sushi restaurant from the Tataki folks will open in the old Sel et Vin (678 Chenery Street) space next week. [Tablehopper]
SoMa: De La Paz Roasters, a new café set to hit the coffee scene in February (1081 Mission at 7th), is testing out batches of beans on Friday mornings. Also, their coffee is already being served next door at AQ. [SF Weekly, Grub Street]
