In welcome news for both the underemployed and restaurant industry folk who get off work late, Dobbs Ferry (409 Gough) is now doing late-night meals in a bowl, like the "family meals" staff might enjoy before their shift. They're only five bucks, and they're served from 10:30 p.m. 'til midnight (9:30 p.m. on Sunday). Recent examples: pork confit with an apple-Brussels sprout salad; and beef cheeks with crispy oyster mushrooms and a cauliflower purée. Not a bad deal! [Grub Street]
