There’s Still Just the One Doughnut/ Fried Chicken Place on Sixth; Pal’s Starts Selling TV Dinners; and More

Sixth Street: Just to clarify for all those who were concerned/excited, the Donut World/Louisiana Fried Chicken at Sixth and Market has not in fact cloned itself as we thought, but has closed and moved to the smaller digs across the street at 6 Sixth Street, now calling itself Happy Donuts. Glad we cleared that one up. [Grub Street]
Mission: Popular sandwich spot Pal’s Takeaway (inside Tony’s Market at 2751 24th Street) is starting to sell TV dinners tonight. This week’s option: brined, pan-roasted chicken breast with maple-vinegar sauce, smashed pimenton fingerling potatoes with black olives, and River Dog rainbow chard with golden raisins. They’re $12 apiece, and they now deliver to the greater Mission, Bernal, Castro and part of SoMa for a $25 minimum. [Grub Street]
TenderNob: Bouche, the little restaurant coming to 603 Bush Street, next to the Tunnel Top, as hired Coi vet Nicolas Borzee as chef. Borzee has also done some time in some major kitchens in Europe. The opening is still TBA. [Scoop]
