Well, we told you long ago about Namu Gaji, which we thought was going to be the izakaya off-shoot of the Richmond-based Namu at the corner of 18th and Dolores. But today the Brothers Lee announce, via the Scoop (and tomorrow's print column in the Chron) that they're actually closing Namu altogether to focus on the new project, in part because of lease issues. The last night of service in the Balboa Street location will be Christmas Eve, and Namu Gaji is still set to open early next year. They've only given us these sneak peeks of the under-construction space, but we're sure we'll get to show you more as the space nears completion next month. [Scoop]
