Beautifull Closes Up Their Castro Shop After Five Months; Sutter Pub Softly Opens Without Booze; and More

Castro: Effective today, Beautifull! is closing their five-month-old healthy food café at Gold’s Gym (2301 Market Street). A sign on the door says they now want to concentrate on just their California Street location — you’ll recall they shuttered their Sunset spot in September. [Grub Street]
TenderNob: On our docket for going on eighteen months, Sutter Pub (700 Sutter), softly opened yesterday, sans liquor license, but with fish and chips. They’re open only for breakfast and lunch, pending the booze in a few weeks. [Yelp, Eater]
And we broke the news back in May, and now iThai looks close to opening in the former Caffe Bella Venezia space (720 Post Street). [The Tender]
Multiple ‘Hoods: The Chron’s Gary Regan solicited cocktail recipes to represent various neighborhoods, and he picked the best of the bunch. The best looking may be a tequila creation by Bryan Ranere of Foreign Cinema. [Chron]

Sixth Street: The opening of Monarch (101 Sixth Street), we believe, is just a week or so away, and we’re told the “Victorian meets steam punk” décor is pretty hot. [Grub Street]
Union Square: Sugar Rush, an event benefiting under-served Bay Area youth for those with serious sweet tooths, is happening Thursday, November 10 at the Sir Francis Drake. Tickets are $75 and featured dessert-makers will be from Chez Panisse, Boulevard, Range, Humphry Slocombe, and elsewhere. [SFoodie]
Cow Hollow: Unique French Bistro, or Bistro Unique (1849 Union Street), opened last week. [Eater]
